NHS Charity Rainbow Cards and Prints
How are you all doing? It's been a crazy few weeks adjusting to this new way of lockdown living and trying to fit in everything around my three year old! We've been keeping in touch with family and friends by doing a lot of face-timing and sending cards and pictures that my daughter has drawn.
I know staying at home is the best thing we can do to help, but I can’t stop thinking about all the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who are putting their lives in danger every day by going to work on the front line. I really want to do my bit to support them and show my thanks. So, I have designed a rainbow print and cards and will be giving 50% of sales to the NHS Covid-19 urgent appeal that raises funds for NHS staff and their families.
Spread a Little Rainbow Joy
Rainbows have long been a symbol of hope and I love how they've become a way to spread some joy and connection across the world in these uncertain times. Seeing all the different and unique rainbows in people's windows when we go for our walks really helps remind me that we're all in this together. So this was my inspiration for this design.
I've designed two versions; the rainbow print and card has a quote I love and feel is very fitting for right now: 'When it rains, look for the rainbows and when it's dark, look for the stars.' The print can be personalised too, so you can add a name, date or phrase that means something to you. There is also a black and white greeting card with a quote that gives me hope: 'Everything will be better soon.'
Sending Happy Post
To make things easy for you, I can write your personal messages straight into the rainbow cards and send them directly to the person you're thinking of. Thank you so much for the orders I've had so far, I'm really enjoying writing all your notes - some are very emotional, some have made me laugh and I feel very honoured to be writing them for you.
I can also write your messages in any of the cards on my site, so whether you want to wish someone a Happy Birthday, say congrats on a new baby or send them a note to say hello and let them know you're thinking of them, just let me know!
Hope you're all doing OK, stay safe, sending lots of love!
