My 10 Best London Cafes
Updated: Mar 7
As I mentioned in my bio, I’m a Londoner through and through, so I thought I’d take you on a tour of my wonderful city and show you some of my favourite places. Starting off with… my 10 best London cafes.
If you love coffee and cake as much as me, then add these brilliant cafes to your must-visit list for the next time you’re in London. In no particular order, let’s start with...
Any cafe that has its name written in such a wonderful (light up!) font right across the front of the building is going to be a winner for me. The inside is just as stunning, I’m doing a workshop here, why not come and take a look for yourself? (And try a bit of brush lettering while you're there!)
Love, love, love this place! I always pop into the Notting Hill cafe when I go to Portobello Road. It’s a super-cute and I love looking at all the biscuits, they really are little works of art!
I couldn’t talk about my favourite cafes and not include this iconic pink one! I'm pretty sure you will have spotted it all over Instagram... I just love their aesthetic and how amazing the whole experience of being there is. I would love to have a workshop here :)
I love supporting local businesses and this small, family-run cafe near me, full of lovely people and delicious food, is one of my favourites. They do amazing supper clubs and last Christmas they gave up their Christmas Day to cook for a number of elderly people on their own in their cafe. My upcoming love letters brush lettering workshop is here - join me!
You could say I have a thing for eye-catching pink places... I mean, who doesn't want to drink their coffee while sitting by one of the best flower walls in London? This place is stunning, you'll take so many pictures, plus the cakes are amazing!
I can’t not mention this cafe; I’ve been going here since my daughter was a baby. It’s local, the owners are so friendly, it has great coffee, is perfect for brunch and dogs are welcome which is always a hit with my daughter!
Another lovely small business near me. There is always such a welcoming atmosphere in here and I always order their amazing tuna melt! They are ‘the home of food and furnishings’, so you’ll find lots of lovely trinkets in there too. I always end up buying something. I held one of my first workshops here and was such a great experience.
This cafe has such great coffee and a very chilled out vibe. It holds wellness classes and has a delicious, healthy menu (but with cake too, of course!) I was introduced to it through my friends in the All by Mama network, an online platform for mums in business where you can find my designs!
If you like your cafes with a side of craft, then you have to visit Drink, Shop & Do. There's always some kind of event happening there (including my workshops later this year, so keep an eye out for those!) plus it has very cool decor.
Yep, as you may have guessed from its name, flowers feature all through the gorgeous interior of this cafe and I just love popping in here for a coffee break.
So, what do you think? Have I tempted you to pop to any of these cafes? I’d love to know your favourite London cafe - let me know!
